Perspective

  

I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with over 20 years of food service operations and management experience in Senior Living (Independent, Assisted, Memory Care, Long Term Care.) I grew up in the restaurant industry – my father, an entrepreneur developed and owned a chain of pizza restaurants while I was young. Whether it was helping him open up a new pizza operation, observing my father during business mtgs., or cleaning kitchen equipment in our garage – our family was always surrounded by the restaurant world. 

Competition for operating resources has never been higher than it is today. The need for tighter expense control has become increasingly more important. Yet, in the hospitality industry our customers have higher expectations than ever before and as operators we have the responsibility to exceed those expectations. Let me help you by offering you the opportunity to strategically address food service operation challenges while avoiding the commitment to cost of another full-time employee. Experience

I received my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Mankato State University and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota. I landed my first job in Long Term Care and never left the Senior Living Industry. I feel fortunate in that my career allows me to utilize both my passions and skill sets of clinical nutrition and business-operations management. I learned early on in my career that what inspires me most is mentoring and leading others in achieving their goals.
